This one is some Orcs and Trolls for Warmaster,
I've got a lot more 10mm to show but I've still got another 4 units of cavalry to build and a further 3 infantry to paint up for my Crusaders/Bretonians. Then it'll be onto the Arabs/Araby.

Next is the Sci-Fi models, some 6mm in this case, Space Wolf Terminators that have been sat for all too long.
Now that I have some other Marine armies up to scratch, it's time for these guys to get done and try it as the Space Wolf list rather than as Space Marines. All the models were based so they could be magnetised, I need to sort out a list and pick up some alternative Predators as I'll probably use these ones as Razorback, and of course add basing materials.
Another one from a box that's been getting based up properly, Imperial Guard this time, these were the only ones that needed to be painted, but the full box has now been based.
Trying to catch up on some of the stuff I've done but not posted.
First up some 28mm Fantasy models, Owlbears from IronGate Scenery I got from Carronade 23.
A figure from an old Werewolf Kickstarter, (can't remember the name of it, but remember the bad way it went for the creators, a first time for them.)
He's being used as a pit fighter in our current Mordheim campaign.
The last of the models from the last kickstarter (the City Guard) were finished earlier this month and here they are, Baron Grimjaws esteemed/feared/laughable red capes.
I officially have no more B&B models to paint, so the next kickstarter is allowed to happen now, or I go about starting to fill in the gaps from the 30% of the range that I'm missing.
So the mighty 'Blue army' is done, or I should say was done, finished them up a while ago, just never got round to taking pics and posting because work was all over the place.
Either way that's 2 full forces for Pikemans Lament done and I've been motoring through the additional bits with 3 bases of Cannon, a unit of Pike done and a unit of Trotters about to be based, which leaves the Dragoons and some bits I need to buy sometime for scenarios, Cattle to rustle, Wagon train to raid etc.
Dark Angels for Epic, the last of the Epic armies I had sitting around after I'd sorted everything out, still needs a bunch of extra bits added and tidying up to base vehicles etc and decisions to be made around things like the speeders/bikes. But here's the vanguard infantry and terminators painted up, with some quickly done rhinos to stand in until I've figured out what else I want to finish them off.
I've got to say I'm not keen on that bottle of express colour I've used for the green, you can see it especially on the rhinos it's really patchy. But it was one of two bottles that I had an issue with when I was opening them.
So finally I got round to trying out the Vallejo express colours I picked up in York. I only picked up 3 red, yellow and green specifically for painting my Magglet squats in that ancient colour scheme.
I did a grey undercoat and then drybrushed up to white instead of the recommended zenithol spray painting/airbrushing that was in the video I watched. everything else was base colour and inks/washes.
Then the obligatory comparison shot of some of my other squats, originals, Hasslefree Grymm and the newer magglets.
The next batch of the last kickstarter, the street gang.
Just got some additional and the Town Guard to get done now.
Onto the last kickstarter finally, these are the townsfolk of the New Castle. Looks like I forgot to put the Marmot butcher into the picture, but the rest are there, with the Town Guard, and the Squeaky Blinders still to be done.
I've still got those Midlam wizards to finish off (How many months/years is that now?) But I've got some Sisters of Battle from Raging Heroes on the desk just now alongside more of the 10mm Pikemans Lament, (onto the second army now)Quite a departure I've not done any medieval/viking age type stuff for a while. So these Dwarves from Ragnarök (Colin Patton) were quite good for that, I picked up one of the skirmish sets alongside a character pack.
This batch is the last of the models from the 2nd to last kickstarter, Dark, Devout and Heroic as well as the couple of additional miniatures I got about the same time.
Puffin Pirate, Beaver Deacon, and a Badger Ranger. So it's been many months since I last updated this, not because I haven't done anything, more that I just haven't gotten round to taking pictures of what I've done. So over the next few days I'll rectify that.
So up first the extra vehicles I did to finish off my Epic scale Inquisition force. This consists of civilian vehicles for the militia/crusade troops. I've also got some Super heavy tanks, Leviathon, and a Capitol Imperialis that stand in for Emperor's Chapels, Cathedral of Purification and Black Cathedral.
More B&B it's taken a while to get these done. Long Covid really sucks, energy and focus levels just haven't been there to keep concentration long enough. Either way from the last kickstarter, here are some Witchhunters.
I have no idea what will get done next, I've still got a bunch of Midlam wizards on the desk that have been there for months, same as the next Pikemans Lament unit, but I have some 6mm Epic vehicles to do as well and they're fairly easy so it might be them.So a while ago I backed a kickstarter from Heresylabs, they were doing warband deals and I picked up the Amberian Dawn, basically Kislevites for Mordheim in any other name. It took a bit to get round to doing them but here they are.
The full warband. So Presenting the Dark from the last kickstarter, (The Dark, The Devout and the Heroic) These were the easiest to paint, though just took a while due to all of the waiting on all of the full miniature bits drying.
Next on the desk is the start of my Amberian Hussars, otherwise known as a Kislevite Warband for Mordheim from Heresylabs. Once I've got a bit of space cleared I'll probably add a couple of random mini's from the pile in for some variety.
